Thirteen-year-old Jesus Navarro was at a friend’s house early Sunday when he decided to go home because he didn’t feel well. As he was walking around 12:33 a.m. along the shoulder of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Mott Road, a Ford F-250 pickup truck driving the wrong way struck and killed him, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Three years ago, the Lightning’s run to the Stanley Cup finals forced the cancellation of three concerts by country legend Garth Brooks at Amalie Arena, his first in many years.
